History

Mr. Purushotam Dass Sharma born in Chhachhrauli District Ambala (Punjab) in India. Now Chhachhrauli is in Yamuna Nagar District (Haryana). I thought of the Brahmin unity and the welfare of the Brahmin and thought of the mitigation of problem faced by the Brahmin Community. My father Shri Ram Parshad and my Father-in-law Shri Jai Bhagwan Sharma Retd. Principal were also helpful to the Brahmins.

He inherited this attitude from my ancestors I started organizing Brahmins in 1970 at Kapal Mochan, Bilashpur and Chhachhrauli Town. He formed Brahmin Sabha Chhachhrauli on 04-6-1979. It was again organized by Shri Vidya Sagar on 04-1-1981 and first Brahmin Sammelan was organized on 1-11-1981. Sunday, at Dayal Puri Mandir Chhachhrauli at 10 AM. This sabha was registered and a large number of Brahmin attended this meeting.

Constitution of Samaj Sudhar Sabha was prepared on 02.10.1982 and its first meeting was held on 31-10-1982 at the residence of Shri Krishan Chand Sharma Jagadhri and the constitution was adopted by the general house. 7.         To unify the Brahmin by forging unity among:
         1) Gaur Brahmin, 2) Saraswat Brahmin, 3) Brahmin Sikhs, 4) Economically Backward Brahmins 5) Jangid Brahmin, 6) Jogi Brahmin 7) Upadhaya Brahmin and other sub-caste in Brahmin.
8.         To maintain good relation with other people of society.
9.         A good citizen of the country and the world. This sabha got its present name on 20-04-1993. It is now Haryana Brahmin Parisangh Regd. No. 88. Since then we are celebrating Bhagwan Parshuram Jayanti's. He worked for the welfare of all, irrespective of narrow consideration. Hence this Parshuram Pariwar.
